ANM or simply Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery in Nursing is a two-year undergraduate certificate-level course in Medical Nursing which is divided into 1½ years of teaching and 6 months of internship.
A.N.M course is available in both part-time as well as full-time.
They have to treat patients, take care of their health and work on their rehabilitation.
ANM course trains students and make them capable of working as basic health workers.
Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery focus on the study of health care of various individuals. It also taught about how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintain records.

A minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) at the 10+2 level

GNM is a job oriented course, using which, 12th standard passed students may enter the field of nursing.
GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a 3½ years long Diploma program. Academic program is 3 years long and 6 months internship.
Registered Nurses who possess ANM (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery) Diploma are also eligible to pursue GNM course
GNM Subjects essentially aim to produce qualified and trained general Nurses who can effectively work as part of the medical community.
The program has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community, and individuals.
Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively.
10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregrate of 45% marks.
Students shall be medically fit.
