CLAT is a Pen-based test.
CLAT FEES
- Fee for General category/ OBC and other category is INR 4000.
- Fee for SC/ST category is INR 3500.
CLAT ELIGIBILITY
For UG Program
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in CLAT exam.
For PG Program
- There is no upper age limit for the post-graduate program.
- Candidate must have an LLB or any other equivalent degree.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the exam.

- Marking Scheme: 1 mark of each question
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for a wrong answer
Exam format for LLM
- Time: 2 hours
- Questions: 150
- Sections: 3
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark of each question
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for a wrong answer
