About UKSC :

UltraTech Knowledge Services Center has been formed with a vision of introducing a Best-in-Class Shared Services Center with strong focus towards governance and efficiency through digital transformation, end to end process optimization and adoption of Best Practices; with strong data analytics capability for providing business insights for value enhancement.

In its initial growth phase, UKSC focus is to bring centralization of the Finance and Accounts operations within UTCL units for bringing in efficiency through process improvements, process standardization, effective service delivery and optimal deployment of people; thereby generating higher value from the resources deployed. Post centralization and migration of all identified accounting activities and people from UTCL units and marketing locations, UKSC will be extending its services to other businesses entities.

The activities carried out at UKSC broadly pertains to (1) Transition of various F&A processes and people from UTCL and other business entities to UKSC, (2) Standardization of processes and re-allocation of people for better efficiency and resource utilisation and (3) Driving continuous improvement of the central processes by implementing best practices and enhancing the benchmarks (4) providing value add propositions to the Business teams to optimize working capital elements and generate business impact/savings.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Organization Design

  • Ensure Job descriptions are updated in the system and review the same periodically

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to determine and execute recruitment strategies to ensure effective hiring within defined budgets
  • Initiate sourcing activities through defined sources of hiring such as employee referral, internal job postings, intimation to recruitment consultants, external job posting on social media, career page & job portals
  • Screen candidate profiles by reviewing resumes - qualification, experience, skill-sets, job movement, etc. and share the relevant profiles to hiring managers
  • Reach out to shortlisted candidates and interview panel for scheduling interviews and plan for any other assessments as per the defined methodology. Conduct referral checks / initiate background verification of selected candidates as per the defined guidelines
  • Conduct salary negotiations for Team Member grades and FTH/contract staff and issue offer letter after seeking necessary approvals as per the defined matrix
  • Keep the candidates warm by proactively engaging with them from offer acceptance date to the date of joining to enhance candidate experience and avoid no-shows
  • Plan for the joining and onboarding of candidates - complete joining formalities, verify the joining documents, generate Employee Code, co-ordinate with Admin & IT team for issuance of ID card/access card, email id, visiting card, mobile discard, PC and other resources as defined for the job position

HR Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain database of candidates who were not selected / who rejected our offer for future reference
  • Maintain accurate reports as per the reporting required defined by the Lead - Talent Acquisition and ensure timely submission of the same, when called for
