CAT 2019 is the top MBA Entrance Exams in India. IIMs primarily offer post graduate, doctoral and executive education program. • The CAT 2019 registration window opens on August 7, 2019 and will close at 5:00 p.m. on September 25, 2019.

• Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP)

• Fellow Program in Management (FPM) [Doctoral]

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, 45% in the case of candidates belonging to the (SC), (ST) and (PwD) categories.

• Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who are awaiting results can also apply.

• Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage.

• 950 for SC, ST and PWD candidates

• 1900 for all other candidates

• The Top IIMs and top business schools require a CAT Score of over 99%ile to get a call for the interview rounds.

• Other IIMs require CAT Cut Off of 90-95%ile for an interview call.

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

• Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

• Each IIM is independent to mandate their own eligibility criteria and follow different selection processes.

• IIMs may also use the previous academic performance, relevant work experience other similar inputs in short-listing of candidates at various stages of the selection process.

• CAT will be conducted in centers spread across around 156 test cities.

• Test cities will be mentioned in the CAT website and the name of the test centre will be indicated in the Admit Card.

• CAT 2019 scorecards will be made accessible on the CAT website.

• The CAT results are likely be declared by the second week of January, 2020.

• The CAT 2019 score is valid only till December 31, 2020.
